New Year new prints!

New shirt by Eskorbuto is up in assorted colors! Took it from an old record of theirs, honestly we made it for ourselves and the love for Spaniard Rock and Roll. El Morfi died days after we printed La Banda Trapera del Rio shirt! Such a bummer, he was a legend in Barcelona in the late 70s trans, weirdos, rockers and other scum surrounded this band and the charismatic Morfi. We also made some Eskorbuto mini posters for all of you that read this! Just add "Eskorbuto Poster" to your notes order and we will throw it in there for FREE. Finally the Pura Mania new 7" record is out this week, printed by us and released in Japan (Discos Peligrosos) and Roachleg Records (NYC) grab a copy cuz half of the press is already gone!
 
This month on our "Smash Hits" section we got a fantastic mix made by Martin Meyer of Soup Activist, ex Lumpy and de Dumpers and other weirdo music. My man went all over the place and drop some crazy hits we never heard before so go check it out!

Excavating the internet we found a CRAZY interview in Spanish with Aknez from Massacre 68. A LEGENDARY band from the 80s Mexicore scene. Its a delight to hear how they said "fuck you" to the Eskorbuto promoter for their show in Mexico City back in the 90s.... so many crazy stories in that interview by Piro of Dangerous Rythm!

More than 15 years ago we met Martin in Argentina while we were on a crazy trip in the Southern Cone of South America. We were kids obsessed with Punk, we had crazy haircuts, we became friends, got robbed and went to sketchy skinhead shows at 4am in La Boca in Buenos Aires. Little did we know that he would be pushing the punk sound forward in the new wave of punk that came years after in North America. His new band Soup Activist is really good and they are putting a mesmerizing new 12" soon from what we heard...

Massacre 68 first Lp has been called the most legendary Hardcorepunk record of all time on this side of planet earth. The band based their name after The Massacre of Tlatelolco were the cops planned the whole thing an executed and disappeared hundreds of students back in 1968. All in the name of the Olympics and christian morality...

In the 80s the band became a cult classic and part of the underground/left wing imaginary in South America. Aknez it's smart, talks about how people saw them, the political expectations fans had of them (hate and love), his famous goat pet, the fight with the Eskorbuto's promoter, the self destruction of the band, his spiritual views, yoga and the weirdo leather works he does now. A controversial character in this mad town called Mexico DF.
